TUMBLING

Our tumbling program in Goulburn focuses on developing floor-based gymnastics skills such as handstands, rolls, walkovers, handsprings, and flips.

Tumbling classes help athletes build strength, coordination, flexibility, and confidence while learning safe technique for acrobatic skills. These classes are popular with gymnasts, dancers, cheerleaders, and any athlete who wants to improve their tumbling ability.

Students progress through different tumbling levels as they develop their skills, moving from foundational movements through to advanced flipping and twisting skills.

BEGINNER TUMBLING

Beginner Tumbling is designed for students who are starting their tumbling journey and learning the foundations of acrobatic movement.

Athletes focus on developing strong basic skills such as handstands, forward rolls, cartwheels, and bridges, while gradually progressing toward more advanced skills including front walkovers and back walkovers.

The goal of this level is to build strong technique, body control, and confidence that prepares students for higher-level tumbling skills.

Mon - 5:30-6:30pm

INTERMEDIATE TUMBLING

Intermediate Tumbling is for athletes who can confidently perform front walkovers and back walkovers, or are very close to achieving them.

At this level students begin working on more dynamic tumbling skills such as front handsprings, back handsprings, and front tucks, while continuing to strengthen their technique and consistency.

Training focuses on developing power, control, and the technical foundations needed for more advanced flipping skills.

Thurs - 5-6pm

ADVANCED TUMBLING

Advanced Tumbling is designed for athletes who already have strong tumbling foundations, including front tucks and front and back handsprings.

Students at this level work on more advanced tumbling combinations as well as higher-level skills such as layouts and twisting skills.

Training focuses on refining technique, improving power and control, and helping athletes safely progress toward more complex tumbling skills.
