Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I sign up?

To sign up to our classes you can find direct links to the program pages through the menu bar at the top of the screen. You are also able to select the Customer Portal button found at the top right if you wish to make an account and have a look through our customer portal yourself.

We also have a mobile app which can be used to access our customer portal and enroll in classes. The app can be found be searching for the iClassPro app on the google play store and apple app store or clicking the download buttons at the bottom of our homepage.

  • Do you offer trial lessons?

We do not offer trial lessons. Instead, we offer a simple money-back guarantee because we are confident that most children will enjoy their classes with us.

Once your child is enrolled, they can attend their first two lessons and experience the class environment, coaching style, and activities. If after those first two classes your child decides that they do not wish to continue, simply let us know and we will provide a full refund of the fees paid.

We want families to feel comfortable trying our programs without pressure, and we are confident that most children quickly discover how much they enjoy being part of the Invert community.

  • What are your prices?

    Pricing Guide

For all of our classes (excluding KindyGym) we operate on an hours based tuition schedule. This helps to keep our pricing affordable for our families, especially those who train multiple hours a week. All of these prices are based on a 4-week month and are pro-rated when there are a different number of weeks in the month.

That's it! We don't have any hidden fees or annual registration costs, we aim to make gymnastics the sport that everyone can participate in!

  • What are your business hours?

We are open the following days:

    Monday: 9:30am-12:00pm, 3:30pm-8pm

    Tuesday: 3:30pm-8pm

    Wednesday: 3:30pm-8pm

    Thursday: 3:30pm-8pm

    Friday: 3:30pm-8pm

    Saturday: 9am-12:30pm

Please note that while we are open these hours, our friendly staff are generally coaching our classes so may be unable to answer the phone during peak class times.

  • What do I need for my first class?

Before attending your first class make sure that your child is wearing comfortable athletic clothing, and they come with a water bottle. We have a water fountain in the gym which they are welcome to use to refill their bottles as well as some cups for anyone who forgets a bottle. Please make sure that hair is tied back neatly, and any excess or dangly jewellery is removed. Gymnasts may choose to participate either in socks or barefeet.

  • Can parents stay and watch classes?

Our afternoon classes operate as drop-off classes, meaning parents do not stay during the lesson. This helps create a focused learning environment that allows students to build independence and engage fully with their coaches and classmates, similar to a school classroom setting.

All classes are fully supervised by multiple qualified coaching staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment for every student.

KindyGym classes are the exception to this, as they are parent-assisted classes where a parent or guardian participates alongside their child.

  • What are Makeup Tokens and how do they work?

Makeup Tokens are automatically added to your account when a class is marked absent in the parent portal before the scheduled class begins. These tokens allow your child to attend another available class at a later date so they don’t miss out on their training.

Makeup Tokens can be used to book into another class that has available spaces through the parent portal. They can generally be used across classes of the same type and level, depending on availability.

We offer unlimited makeup tokens to help provide flexibility for families. However, makeups are always subject to class availability and must be booked in advance through the parent portal.

Makeup Tokens can only be used by active students who are currently enrolled in a class at Invert Sports Centre.

Makeup Tokens cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for monetary value.

These tokens are designed to help families reschedule missed classes while allowing us to maintain safe class sizes and a consistent learning environment for all students.

  • How Do Students Move Between Levels?

Students progress through our programs in different ways depending on whether they are participating in recreational or competitive classes.

Recreational students generally move through our classes based on their age group. As students grow and develop their skills, they move through the Mini Rec, Explore Rec, and Excel Rec classes. Twice each year we run Recreational Testing Weeks which help our coaches review student progress and ensure that each child is training in the class that best suits their development.

If our coaching team believes a recreational gymnast may be well suited to competitive gymnastics, we will speak with the family and recommend a suitable competitive class for the athlete to try. However, students are also welcome to join our competitive program directly without first participating in recreational classes.

Most athletes begin their competitive journey in our Bronze Competitive class. We hold four Competitive Testing Days each year which allow our coaches to review athlete progress, identify areas of focus for training, and determine when athletes may be ready to progress to the next level.

Progression within the competitive program involves more than simply performing a skill. Our coaching team carefully considers a range of factors including technique, coachability, dedication to training, and consistency of skill execution. As athletes move into higher levels, training hours also increase, so we consider whether the athlete and their family are ready for that additional commitment.

We also look at how athletes perform in competitions, including both our in-house events and competitions against other clubs. As these are competitive programs, athletes are generally expected to be consistently placing within the top group of competitors at external competitions before moving into higher levels.

Ultimately, progression decisions are made by our coaching team with the goal of placing every gymnast in the level where they will learn, develop, and succeed.

  • How do I sign up for KindyGym?

If you haven't already registered in the Iclasspro portal just follow the link to do so.

If you have registered and you're just unsure how to book in for kindygym follow the steps below.

Once registered go to the shop and purchase punch passes for Kindygym, these can be bought in groups of 5 or 10.

Once you have purchased the passes go to account then open your child's profile then go to passes then use for class.

You will need to put in the date for the class you wish to book into ie. if  the first class is next Monday the 0th go to that date then choose the time you want to attend and book in.

You will need to do this for each class you want to attend. You can book in as many classes as you like as long as you have the passes available.

We have made a short youtube video explaining this process: https://youtu.be/jMDSDBzbh9U
